Yamal was on the bench at kick-off, but came on for the injured Raphinha late in the first half. He rewarded his manager's faith — and made his case for a start — by turning in a scintillating showing and scoring his second Barca goal.
Xavi praised his winger after the game, telling reporters: "Lamine, with the ball, is amazing. He practically doesn't lose the ball, and he goes into every duel. Even apart from the goal, he was very good. He's an extraordinary talent."
