The Allstate Continental Clasico is a new international friendly series that will see the US welcome regional foes on an annual basis.
Anthony Hudson's USMNT are on the back of two consecutive wins in the CONCACAF Nations League against Grenada and El Salvador, which were held during the March international break.
Mexico also played two National League matches last month. While they beat Suriname 2-0, they were held to a 2-2 draw by Jamaica.

USA are missing the services of some of their star players who ply their trade in Europe, like Christian Pulisic. Only Sergino Dest, who has fallen out of favour at AC Milan, has been included in this squad.
The squad has 10 players who featured in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Mexican squad has seven players — Roberto de la Rosa, Aldo Rocha, Ozziel Herrera, Victor Guzman, Omar Campos, Jose Antonio Rodriguez and Luis Malagon — who will be hoping to get their maiden international cap.
All eyes will be on Barcelona B defender Julian Araujo who is set to feature in the starting lineup against USMNT.
